Brand
Perfection is subjective.
Established in 2017 by Robin Gunningham, “Perfcetion” serves as a reminder that I’m aware of the imperfections, and that’s intentional. I’ve often been asked if I know I spelled it wrong, and I do. At Perfcetion, we embrace imperfection, recognizing that the journey of creativity is more valuable than any unattainable standard. It’s through these imperfections that we find authenticity and connection.
At Perfcetion, we embrace imperfection, recognizing that the journey of creativity is more valuable than any unattainable standard. We believe that it’s through these imperfections that we find authenticity and connection, allowing us to create without the weight of perfectionism.
By celebrating the beauty of imperfection, we invite you to reflect on your own creative journey and the unique paths we all take. At Perfcetion, we acknowledge that true expression comes from being genuine and accepting that nothing is ever truly complete.
Collaboration with Sam Sheffer
In 2018, we ventured into a collaboration with creator, Sam Sheffer. No scripts, no rehearsed nonsense — just a raw, unfiltered fusion of styles that screams, "This is us, take it or leave it." This partnership brought to life a fusion of "Perfcetion's" bold style with the gritty elegance of NYC, delivering comfortable, monochromatic creations designed to make a statement.
A Pause in Reflection
In 2019, after a period of global recognition, "Perfcetion" took a reflective pause. A brand that had become a shared experience, averaging 20,000 monthly visitors and uniting a global community. 2019 wasn't a retreat; it was a moment to figure out our true north. Turns out, it's not about scaling the peak of perfection; it's about relishing the journey.
2024: Rediscover "Perfcetion" Together
Fast forward to now, "Perfcetion" has evolved into a mindset. We’re not here to showcase flawless designs; instead, we celebrate the beauty in being messy and imperfect. It’s about embracing authenticity and recognizing that the journey matters more than the end result.
The essence of "Perfcetion" reflects the unique paths we all take. We acknowledge that true creativity comes from being genuine and accepting our imperfections.
