"When Perfcetion first came across my computer screen a few months ago, I really liked what I saw. Super simple, mostly monochromatic streetwear, with this unique hand-drawn heart. And I’d never really seen anything like it. I’ve long been into this type of clothing.

I grew up skateboarding in the suburbs of New Jersey during the late 90’s and early 00’s. And especially now, as a 20-something year-old living in New York City, to me streetwear embodies a form of gritty elegance. The clothing is usually simple, yet punchy, with bold logos, patterns, or typefaces. I’m attracted to these refined designs because of their simplicity. 

Over the last eight years, I’ve held jobs at three major tech media companies and I was more or less able to wear whatever I wanted to work; Jordans, joggers, hats, shirts - clothing that I felt confident and comfortable wearing. Clothing that was me: Sam Sheffer. 

I’m collaborating with Perfcetion because I really like Perfcetion. I genuinely believe in this brand and what it stands for. The clothes have a good vibe to them. With this line, we wanted to capture the essence of New York City and bring it to life in conjunction with handwritten Perfcetion logo and font.

There’s a handful of gear to choose from; hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts. I’m super pumped to share this with the world and this is just the start".
